Edward Ruff is a fourth generation resident of Havre and the Hi-Line. He was raised on his family's farm and ranch west of Havre, the same place his grandfather settled. His great-grandfather homesteaded north of Zurich, MT. During Ed's youth, he helped family on the farm, operating machinery and working with cattle and horses.
